TEACHING ASSISTANT 1-2-1 (temporary) – 26.25 hours per week

Grade: Level 1a, point 2-3 to Level 2, point 5-6  (depending on experience and skills)

Start date:       asap

 

The Headteacher and Governors are looking for a committed and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our team. The Teaching Assistant will provide support a child with complex needs in Key Stage 2. The role will involve working with the teacher to plan and deliver activities, assessing assessibility and adapting tasks as necessary. The role will also include supporting the pupil with routines, transitions, social  and emotional development, sensory breaks, communication skills and behaviour management.

 

The position is temporary for up to one year in the first instance, but is likely to afford opportunities to become permanent, depending on the needs of the pupils next year.
