Purchase Ledger Clerk
Start Date: March 2019
Contract: Permanent, 30 hours per week (8.30 am to 3.00 pm Monday to Friday) working Term Time plus training days plus 2 additional weeks per year (a total of 41 working weeks per academic year)
Salary: Scale 3, Points 14 – 17 (£17,681 to £18, 672 pro – rata), (actual salary £12, 833.43 to 13,552.73)
Location: The post is based at Middlefield Primary Academy, St Neots (but will be required to travel to other schools within the Diamond Learning Partnership Trust)
The Diamond Learning Partnership Trust is looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to work within our central finance team, placing orders for Trust schools and processing high volume supplier invoices into Sage manually using purchase orders and nominal ledger postings. In addition the post holder will provide timely and effective financial administrative support to the Finance Manager and academy staff in accordance with Trust procedures and assist our academies by maintaining good relationship with staff, parents, governors, contractors’ representatives, suppliers and external agencies.
The successful candidate will need to be adaptable, enthusiastic, highly motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team.
