Kinderley Primary School

Kinderley is a small rural primary school in the village of Tydd St Giles close to the Lincolnshire border. It was formed in 1987 following the amalgamation of Tydd St Giles and Newton schools. It currently has four mixed-age classes. There is an EYFS class containing nursery and Reception children, a KS1 class and lower and upper KS2 classes. The school was built in the early 1960s with three classrooms around a central hall which are used by the KS1 and KS2 classes. The EYFS class is housed in a mobile classroom at the rear of the school. In addition the school has a small library. The field to the rear of the school has raised beds for gardening, a polytunnel, an environmental area with a pond, an area with trees as well as play equipment.
