Isleham C of E Primary is a friendly one-form entry school situated in the village of Isleham just outside Ely on the Suffolk/ Cambridgeshire border, so the school is very accessible to a variety of towns in the East of England. We are just 15 minutes from Newmarket, 20 minutes from Ely, 25 minutes from Bury St Edmunds and 35 minutes from Cambridge.

We are a supportive, successful school, committed to the development and well-being of the whole child (and to each of our staff members!) We were graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted in March 2016, and ‘Outstanding’ by SIAMS in April 2017 in recognition of the school’s strong family ethos and caring environment.

We offer delightful children who are keen to learn, excellent resources in a well-equipped school, supportive parents and staff, and good professional development opportunities.
We have a thriving school community with a vibrant and broad curriculum- we are able to offer lots of exciting extra-curricular opportunities in music, the arts and sport, including regular concerts, visits outside school to support children’s learning including theatre trips, involvement in local tournaments and swimming lessons in our school pool.
