Littleport and East Cambs Academy
Littleport and East Cambridgeshire Academy (LECA) is a new, state-of-the-art Secondary school primarily serving the popular and thriving village of Littleport, Cambridgeshire. It opened in September 2017 . The school currently has 463 pupils. At full capacity of there will be 600 pupils in 2022.
LECA shares its campus with Littleport Leisure – a brand new leisure centre – and Highfield Littleport Academy (SEN) meaning the opportunities for all users are many and varied. The vision for the Academy and the campus as a whole is to be the go-to location in East Cambridgeshire to learn and to spend leisure time.
LECA is part of the Active Learning Trust and enjoys all the benefits that being part of a successful MAT provides. These include: CPD for all levels of staff, school to school support, shared resources and shared Trust events. Each school, however, is unique in its own right and LECA is no different. Our positive ethos, promoting growth mindset, resilience and determination, runs through the heart of everything we do and our students enjoy the positive and challenging environment this creates.
