Kimbolton Primary Academy is situated in a peaceful rural location in the Huntingdonshire district of Cambridgeshire. The opportunities for quality teaching and learning are enhanced through easy access to the natural environment. In total we have 5 classrooms, including a nursery for 2-5 year olds, each furnished with touch-screen white boards and access to the internet. Our nursery and reception classrooms have an extensive, partly covered, outdoor area. We have a dedicated library room and a kiln room. Outside we have a large playground with access to an outside learning area complete with outdoor classroom. Behind the school is a playing field, which is used during dry weather. We also have an environmental area which provides an opportunity for the children to play and learn in natural surroundings. Our outdoor learning area includes a vegetable garden where children have an opportunity to grow food which is shared with others in school. We also offer a breakfast club and after-school club called Treehouse.
