Have you thought about applying to be an apprentice?

The government has introduced a number of new reforms to the way that Apprenticeships are offered, managed and provided. Apprenticeships can now be offered to employees of all ages.

If you are already working in a school, it is possible to become an apprentice without having to resign and apply: it could be part of your CPD if it would involve you gaining significant new knowledge and skills which will help you in your role and future progression. You could approach your Headteacher to suggest this if you feel it would be relevant to you.
