This workshop will start to explore the wealth of data held in SIMS to create reports, as well as run or edit existing ones. It will take you through importing and exporting reports, using basic filters, creating simple analysis reports and new reports with class lists.

It is most useful for those key staff that use SIMS to produce lists and reports and may need to either modify or create new ones. The course will help you utilise the wealth of data held within SIMS more efficiently and usefully.

We will cover the various processes involved in importing pre-defined reports.  We will look at clearing out historic records so that you have access to what you need whilst further reviewing those key reports for pupil analysis linked to Word and Excel.

To further support with key reports required for Ofsted visits, this workshop will also review and look at best practice linked with the Attendance reporting area.  If your school has issues with lateness and general individual poor attendance, this is your opportunity to find out how simple it is to keep all this evidence in one place in the student’s records.

Schools that are Centrally Hosted will have the option of working on their own data for this course.
